| Story: | My husband and I purchased this painting (along with a portrait of his wife Elisabeth) at a Danish Flea Market outside of Copenhagen. We loved the portraits upon first sight and had to buy the pair. There are some dates labeled on the back that I assume are his years of life 1797-1876 and the name that I cannot read. All I know he was a general in the 1800s in Denmark. |
